,"After the Original Artist, only the copyist" John Muir
John Muir was a great naturalist, father of our national parks, and founder of the Sierra Club. He, of course, was referring to the radiant splendor of our mountains and forests. He also was witnessing the wonders of the universally spectacular creative intelligence of all naturally occurring phenomenon. He wasn't much of a fan of the effect of civilization on nature, but I'm going to give his quote an interpretation that I hope he wouldn't mind. When we gaze in wonder at the beauty of nature I think it would be a huge disservice to omit us, our bodies, minds, and spirits. We were/are engineered/created/evolved to reproduce, heal, create, grow strong and live life in peace and total enjoyment. If we live in accordance with our own creative intelligence. Our very hormonal system has checks and balances to keep us healthy and strong. It is when we stress this system out with man-made unnatural, addictive, poisonous, profit driven "foods" that we run into problems. Okay, a random example which I really love. Jack LaLanne at age 15 ditched his sugar addiction and went on to become the "father of fitness" and an inspiration to a new generation of fitness seekers. At age 70 he swam a mile...................pulling 70 row boats with 70 people.................for a mile, it took him 2 hours. He accomplished this with only real whole foods and consistent , dedicated movement. He loved it and so does anyone who starts this path of ancestral living and wellness. Most of us had no idea where this path would lead but most of us live now in a state of wonderment at the totally beautiful creative intelligence in and through all life. in health, (and creative intelligence) Rich couchpotatoprimalfit changing the world one person at a time couchpotatoprimalfit@gmail.com 402-525-5828
